Tray cleaning machine with strippers - has strippers located transverse to conveyor path and guide rails for trays

The apparatus removes waste or food remains from trays by the use of strippers standing transverse to the conveyor path. A guide track for the trays is formed by two guide rails (3) which fit below the tray edges (P) and which rise in the direction of conveyor movement. A conveyor chain (4) equipped with cams (5) for the trays (P) runs above the guide track and a storage container (8) for the items to be cleared is located below the guide track. The lower edge of the strippers has a number of slots, cut outs etc. to make it fit to the shape of the trays.
