1323493 Laminates DEUTSCHE GOLDUND SILBER-SCHEIDEANSTALT 19 April 1971 [25 Feb 1970] 22334/71 Heading B5N A multi-layer composite for use in shoes and car upholstery comprises a surface layer consisting of a textile material of man-made fibres weighing less than 150 grams per square metre united with a non-porous plastics layer, the non-porous plastics layer having a textile embedded in it as an intermediate layer or provided as a covering or backing therefor. The surface layer is preferably a knitted fabric having a rough, velours-like or boucle-velours like surface of polyamide, polyester, polyacrylonitrile, rayon or viscose-staple fibres. The surface layer may be patterned, embossed and/or printed. The textile for the plastics layer may be woven, e.g. net-like and may be natural or synthetic fibres. The plastics layer may be embossed or perforated. The multilayer material may be embossed and/or perforated and/or printed. |
