Hollander rollers for grinding of paper pulp are formed by hollow cylinders on which the synthetic or natural stone, axially extending, grinding bars are disposed in a peripherally spaced array by direct bonding with an adhesive based on a polyester or epoxy resin. Spaces between the bars serve as scooping grooves.
