<p>The vehicle door is fitted with a flasher operated when the door is opened, and indicating to following motorists that the door is open. It is fitted into a simple hole near the door lock, with a similar hole on the inside of the door edge to house a microswitch, operated when the door is opened. The system can be fitted as a separate unit in each door, or can be linked to a central flasher circuit. It is simple to instal and requires few components. It can be fitted to road vehicles as well as any other types of vehicle with pivotted doors.</p> |
