<p>System for spraying a liquid onto a powdered or granular solid uses a rotating disc mounted horizontally in the upper part of the treatment chamber. The powder or granules are fed axially down onto the disc by means of a curved pneumatic conveying line. The shaft of the disc thus down the vertical portion of this. The disc is surrounded by adjustable spray nozzles. These may be mounted in the upper part of the chamber or attached to its cover. They are adjustable both vertically and horizontally, and their tilt is adjustable. The upper surface of the disc is slightly downwards inclined. Its dia. is approx. 1.5 times the dia. of the pneumatic conveying line.</p> |
