<p>The light fitting with concave mirror reflector has regions of different focal distances, and does not result in loss of light. The different regions (1c, 1d) in the reflector are smoothly connected. One of the regions (1d) has more marked curvature, and bulges outwards from the main reflector body. The hollow reflector produces what are known as downlight components and wall wash effects. Any parasitic reflections are eliminated, and the reflector ensures uniform distribution of light over the whole surface area. The reflector is readily made by deep drawing, which also ensures good surface finish and optimum light distribution. A number of wall wash regions can be provided.</p> |
