Track wheel with rubber tyres - has easily removable runner ring in wheel ring groove carrying track teeth

This track wheel is made in two symmetrical halves which are fitted together to form a wheel. Between the rims (2) of the wheel halves is formed a ring groove (3) in which run the teeth (4) of the track (5). Each rim (2) has fitted a bandage (6) on which a rubber tyre (7) is vulcanised. The inner surface of the bandage (6) is conical to correspond with the under side of the wheel rim (2). The tyre is held in place by a press ring (8) fitted to the inside of each press ring (8). This ring (10) contacts the teeth (4) of the track (5) when in motion. The runner ring (10) is fixed to the press ring (8) using the same bolts (9) which fit the press ring (8).
