<p>The applicator is for viscous mediums, esp. glue, lacquer, etc. to be deposited as a film on level work piece surfaces. It has an application roller running-off the surface to be coated, with an associated proportioning roller, the two defining a proportioning gap. One of the two rollers (10, 12) pref. the proportioning roller (12) may be swivelled about an axis, which is at right angles to its longitudinal axis. Due to this, the width of the proportioning gap (18) is maintained even over its complete length during the proportioning process. One roller may be adjusted in a radial direction for rapid opening of the gap.</p> |
