<p>The composite paving stone is esp. of the turf paving type for improving the traffic bearing capacity of a lawn surface, without destroying much of the grass. It is polygonal in plan, with a peripheral stem, and a number of rib stems, and openings passing right through it. The rib stems (14) are star-shaped, connecting all the corners (16) of the polygonal peripheral stem (12) with a centrally sited rib stem intersection area (18). The peripheral stem may be made up from equal-length edge sections, with the intersection area lying in the geometrical centre.</p> |
