<p>The simple equipment is for timing two teams during certain periods in units of 5 second, particularly for basket ball umpiring, in which only one control knob is required to time both teams, and in which a local display on the control console and a remote corresponding display are provided. The control is mounted in a small console (11), with six lamps (14) each of which corresponds to a similar large remote display lamp in a remote display board. The console has a single control knob (17 of a joystick type, which can take up four positions (L, R, A, P) in addition to the normal inactive position. The various positions are used to time and display the two teams' appropriate elapsed times as required, in units of 5 seconds.</p> |
