<p>The conveyor loop truck travels along the conveyor track on crawler-tracked bogies on either side of it, forming a loop in the belt running over the discharge drum at the forward end. Lengthwise members on either side of the track are joined by front and rear cross-members and supported from the bogies at three points, the two front ones being directly above the bogies and the rear one at the belt inlet end above the centre line of the belt track. The load at the rear end is transmitted from the cross-member to the bogies via levers pivoting at points above or alongside the track. These are supported by a thrust rod acting on them via rigid brackets.</p> |
