Plug-in modular counter for copier machines - has interlocking relays triggered by bar magnets to initiate machine cycle

A plug in modular counter provides full interlocking using electromagnetic relays closed when the counter is inserted. The counter is intended for use with coin-operated copying machines. A rectangular socket (10) is mounted into the front panel of a console (12). The rear face of the socket has a number of connecting pin holes that are couples to the interlock circuit mounted in the rear space (17). The counter module (11) has a display on the front surface (18) and coupling pins (15) on the rear surface. A number of bar magnets (19) on the sides of the counter trigger relays (20) located within the socket. The signals generated are used to activate the copier power supply and cycle functions.
