The pulsed beam is sent over two paths from a single source, one path straddling the protected area, and the other through a light conducting cable, to a receiver, where are discrepancy triggers an alarm. In the transmitter, a low frequency signal generator drives a laser over a time delay network and impulse current generator. - A voltage amplifier fed by two stabilizing networks provides a stabilized supply. Two laser beams are taken from an array of mirrors. At the receiver, two photocells detect the beams and produce signals which are amplified and fed to a coincidence circuit, the output of which feeds a display circuit. - A stabilized supply is also provided.
