摘要 PURPOSE:To make a sufficient luminous quantity incident in an image pickup lens with simple constitution and to obtain a high definition picture with less crosstalk even at a low temperature by leading a luminous flux of an object from a different direction from an optical axis of the image pickup lens to the image pickup lens through a full reflection mirror and a rotation reflection mirror. CONSTITUTION:A rotary reflecting mirror 30 consists of a mirror section 30a applying reflection and deflection to a luminous flux and a light transmission section 30 transmitting and straight forwarding the luminous flux. A luminous flux 21 of an object from a direction different from an optical axis 19 of an image pickup lens 11 is reflected and polarized by a full reflection mirror 15 during the luminous flux reflecting period, the resulting luminous flux is further reflected and polarized by a rotary reflection mirror 30 and made incident in the image pickup lens 11. Then the luminous flux 35 of an object from the optical axis 19 is not made incident in the image pickup lens 11 because the mirror section 30a covers the optical axis 19. On the other hand, the luminous flux 35 from the optical axis 19 transmits the rotary reflection mirror 30 for the luminous flux transmission period and is made incident in the image pickup lens 11. In this case, the luminous flux from the full reflection mirror 15 transmits through the rotary reflection mirror 30 and is not made incident in the image pickup lens 11. The two periods are repeated for each field.
