<p>The upright bar (1) is fixed to the balcony floor (2) and consists of an upright (3) with an enlarged base (4) or foot which is bolted to the floor. An intermediate wedge (5) is inserted between the foot (4) and the floor (2) and distributes the pressure onto the cement. The bar (1) supports a hand rail (7) and bottom rail (8) joined by vertical bars. The bottom part of the foot (4) has a cavity with a toroidal surface (10) which rests on a complementary surface (11) on the top of the intermediate wedge. a fixture screw (16) with washer (17), penetrates the foot (4) and the wedge (5) and is screwed into an anchor nut (18) in the floor (2).</p> |
