PURPOSE:To prevent data from getting inconstant while the data is being transmitted in a communication mode by providing a terminal device which transmits copying data such as the information on the number of copied sheets and the maintenance of a copying machine to a centralized control device which collects data on plural copying machines through a communication line. CONSTITUTION:A processing mode in which processing other than the transmission of data is performed corresponding to the actuation of the corresponding copying machine 10 and the communication mode in which the transmission of data is performed are provided in the terminal device 30. Then, a transmission device 20 which is provided every copying machine 10 in order to transmit the data and a line connection device 3 which transmits the data of the connected transmission device 20 to the centralized control device 5 through the communication line 4 are installed. At the time of requiring the transmission of data, the transmission device 20 can be set in the communication mode only when the corresponding copying machine 10 is not in the midst of a copying action. Therefore, in the communication mode, which is not the processing mode, the change of the data is prevented, which occurs because the copying data such as the number of the copied sheets is written due to copying. Thus, the data is prevented from getting inconstant while the data is being transmitted in the communication mode. |
