PURPOSE:To regulate flow of the air in a vent passage to allow the air to be easily sucked into a blower and to suppress a noise to a low value by providing deflectors at positions deviated from a plate of a cross-flow fan in a suction unit of a casing of the fan. CONSTITUTION:Both upper and lower deflectors 24, 26 are disposed at substantially intermediate position between adjacent plates 28 and an end plate 29, i.e., positions deviated from the plate 28. That is, the air guided to vent passages 43 partitioned by the upper deflector 26 is fed along the plate 26. Here, since the deflector 26 is disposed between the plates 28 of a cross-flow fan 7, the air fed along the deflector 26 is smoothly fed between the plates 28 of the fan 7. The air is inclined obliquely upward as it is fed forward at the lower side 39 of the deflector 26. Thus, the air fed along the deflector 26 is not fed to the front part 44 of the fan 7 as much as possible. |
