The suspension system is for train bogies with pneumatic supporting tyres (2) and guide wheels. The axles are rigidly fixed to the bogie chassis, which has a vertically protruding web (10) on each side. A swinging arm (9) with end cup (92) pivots about a horizontal axis (11) through the web. A helical spring (3) is located between the lower arm cup and a similar cup on the bogie chassis. The train body (5) is supported on the swinging arms by intermediate rubber damping cylinders (6), again located between cups on the underside of the body (7) and the swinging arm.
