The sheet metal pallet is made of sections welded which are together with obtuse angles between the planes of adjacent sections. The weld lines are along the diagonals of the basic rectangular shape. The assembly has therefore a hollow shape. There is a hole at the centre of the pallet. The pallet has a frame of U-section metal round its outside edge and feet at the corners. The pallets can be piled one on top of the other.
