The temple hinge, for a spectacles frame, comprises two hinge elements (1, 2) respectively secured to the front of the frame (4) and to one of the side arms (6), by fixing pins (8). Each hinge element (1, 2) is formed as a sheet metal stamping, with the fixing pins (8) being integral with it and lying in the same plane as the main part of the hinge element. Pref each of the fixing pins (8) comprises a flat rectangular projection extending from the side of the hinge element (1, 2) and has roughened edges or an enlarged section at its end, for maintaining it in position, after forcing it into the plastics frame element.
