<p>The sliding cover for a brush covers the bristles completely, to keep them flat and clean when stored, and can be slid back with one hand. It is moved from the front to the back of the brush by means of a notch on each side. This notch fits into tenons on the handle and is held in the open position by friction. The front of the cover is open and is closed by a shutter which pivots on a metal axle parallel to the handle and is held closed by friction.</p> |
