<p>The cage is for roller or needle-roller bearings, each roller being separated from the next one by two cross-members. It is in two parts (1,2) joined together along a plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation, and which can be at any point along the length of the cage. The two parts can be entirely of synthetic material, no metal being used. The design allows cages of different lengths to be produced in the same mould.</p> |
