The electronically controlled resistor is intended as an adjusting element for control circuit. It consists of several field-effect transistors, which are selectively switchable and have their drain-source paths connected in parallel. The control is carried out via the gate-source voltage of the field-effect transistors. The channel width/length ratio is different for each field-effect transistor. The control regions of the field-effect transistors overlap, when external criteria are observed. The resistor assembly permits switching from one field-effect transistor to the other. Preferably one external criterion is the maximum permissible, non-linear portion of the channel resistance of one field-effect transistor. A switching transistor may be series-connected to each field-effect transistor.
|
