The clay pigeon launching piston has a butt fixed to a breech with a striker mechanism, and a tilting barrel together with a trigger acting in opposition to a spring. The sear (7) cocks and releases the firing pin (15) under spring action with a single return movement of the trigger and a leaf spring (23) fixed to the breech locks the barrel (3) in place. A tube (20) coaxial to the barrel guides the flame from the priming cap (19) to the cartridge fitting in the barrel end. The sear can have a nose (9) bearing against one of the two arms of the spring (6) mounted at the centre of the trigger, also two other noses (10,11) on the opposite side, forming between them a groove for part of the trigger. One nose (10) bears against this part, and the other (11) has a hook, holding the firing pin in the rest position by means of a shoulder (14) on its piston.
|
