The thermoplastic heating vessel, for corrosive liquids, consists of a thermoplastic cylindrical housing (1) containing heating tubes (9,10) over which the liquid flows. The two heating tubes are looped into U's with their planes at right angles and arranged with their long axes parallel with the axis of the vessel and also parallel to the flow of liquid. The liquid enters through a radial pipe (2,3) in the side of the vessel and leaves through an axial pipe. Water is heated in a reservoir (6) adjacent to the heating plate (5) and flows through the heating tubes, which heat the corrosive liquid by heat exchange.
|
