<p>The drive motor (11) has a central drive shaft which revolves under the action of the hydraulic fluid. The shaft runs in taper roller bearings. The hydraulic fluid operates the swash plate which is actuated by the pistons (17). The swash plate is splined to the shaft. The shaft drives the epicyclic gear train consisting of a sun wheel (37), planet wheel (51) running on the spindle (42) and outer gear wheel (16). The wheel is bolted to the outer casing (13). The casing revolves at slow speed producing a high torque.</p> |
