<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate optical axis alignment by fitting a projector and a photodetector in holder main bodies where the projector and photodetector are manufactured previously while aligned with the center axis of beam passing holes. CONSTITUTION:For the optical axis adjustment of the beam sensor, the projector holder 3 and photodetector holder 4 are fitted at specific positions, a stiff rod 5 which is thick enough to fit in the beam passing holes 34 and 44 of both the holders is inserted into the passing holes while the height from and angle to the leg parts 31 and 41 of the holder main bodies 32 and 41 are adjusted, and both the holders are fixed while the rod penetrates the holes. Then this rod 5 is extracted and the projector 1 and photodetector 2 are fitted in the ;holder main bodies which have recesses 33 and 44 for holding the projector 1 and photodetector 2 by fitting and the beam passing holes 34 and 44 which are provided in the bottoms of the recesses so that their transverse section centers are aligned with the centers of the projection part and photodetection part.</p> |
