The pick-up device consists of a cylinder mounted on a shaft and rotating about a vertical axis. Pick-ups and grabs around the cylinder convey the crop into the intake part. The cylinder consists of two equal-sized chain-wheels one above the other. The housing consists of a pipe enclosing the cylinder and supported on a runner on the ground. Above the cylinder and housing is a bracket with corresponding holes for the crop. The blower for the crop and an elevator are fixed to the intake part by means of screws or bolts. An intake trough has guide plates in front of it.
