The voltage is delivered by a potentiometer (4) operated by a butterfly valve in the suction pipe (1). The counter (7) counting direction is determined by a signal derived from this voltage. It displays its counting result in two sets of word parts simultaneously processed. A number into frequency convertor (9) is allocated to the counter (7), to which the above word sets are simultaneously applied at the shift frequency. They are converted by parallel processing devices into a final output frequency (fa). A feedback loop (10) includes a series resistor (12) and a T-junction connected to the capacitor (11).
