<p>The dispensing valve for use with an aerosol container, particularly for medical use, has a base (1) with a valve (3) below, connected with a tube which is inserted in the aerosol container. A top portion (6) is a sleeve which fits inside the base, and has a discharge valve (10) at the top. To vary the capacity of the chamber formed by these two portions (1, 6) the base is threaded internally and the top part is threaded externally so that by rotation, the top part can be raised or lowered. An alternative design of simpler construction houses a single spring loaded valve member mounted on a single sliding rod down the centre.</p> |
