Cpd. feedstuff for livestock, esp. for monogastric species is characterised in that its protein and vitamin contg. component comprises 30 wt.% purified activated sludge bio-compsn. formed from esp. industrial chipboard or sulphate or sulphite pulp residue waste, which consists of the cells of non-pathogenic organisms e.g. protozoa, algae, bacteria, moulds and lichens contd. in large numbers in the starting material used as the effluent compsn. while the remainder of the cpd. feed consists of cereal and legume grits and husks, dried potatoes and other types of pressed oil cake, silage, waste fodder, dried blood substances, animal oil etc. or their mixts. to a total of =95 wt.% plus further fortifying substances such as fats, lysine, methionine, P, Ca, vitamins B, D and E etc. or their mixts. to a total of =15 wt.%. |
