The device measures electrical parameters, e.g. conductivity and in partic. conductance variations of the human skin. It has high display sensitivity and constant sensitivity over all operating ranges. There is a linear relation between needle deflection and measured value, and the range switching is automatic. The measurement circuit uses one or more pairs of measurement electrodes. The electrodes are part of an input bridge circuit connected to a differential amplifier or via a convertor to an analogue store or display device. The measurement circuit contains a switching element for selection of the instrument sensitivity.
