<p>A floor covering and corner sealing arrangement for wet rooms such as underground stations, toilets, operating theatres, etc., is applied to the joints between walls and floors. The adjacent floor and wall layers overlap each other with a broad edge, and between the two floor layers, suitably spaced by honeycomb profile packing units of impregnated paper pulp, there is a cast-in synthetic resin layer. The upper layer forming the tread surface is bonded to the edges of the walls of the cavities filled by resin, and forms a pattern of slight depressions. Arrangement makes it possible to keep a room in which large amounts of water are used, perfectly dry underfoot. Leakage is prevented both from the inside out and from the outside in.</p> |
