<p>A rotating cylinder engine has an injector pump which forces the fuel through a heater situated close to the exhaust. The heated fuel then flows to the injector, which is adjusted to 100 atmospheres pressure, before joining the combustion air flow to the cylinder. The fuel and air mixture enters the cylinder through a rotating slide valve to be ignited by a heater spiral (33) which is supplemented by heat from the exhaust channel (17). The injector is adjusted to higher pressure for cold start purposes.</p> |
