<p>The set of components used for strengthening doors has at least one flat side, and esp. prefabricated doors already installed in a building, and increases noise insulation. It comprises one or more panel-shaped wooden, or woodbased, elements with grooves and/or tongues on their narrow sides. They are shaped so that nails or screws set along an edge, for fixing them to the door-leaf (1), can be covered when inserted through a further adjacent element on the leaf, or by a sealing batten (10). The sealing battens can be fixed into the panel elements concerned by a simple insertion process, using tongue and groove connection.</p> |
