Line amplifier with reduced average power consumption - uses capacitors to supply short term peaks for e.g. auxiliary amplifiers

The line amplifier has its average power consumption reduced by using capacitors to supply short-term power for the brief gain peaks of the amplifier. Other advantages are the increased power output from the same supply or the increased lifetime of components achieved by reducing their loading and therefore their temperature. The second transistor of the main patient is replaced by three transistors (T3, R4, T5), two zener diodes (D1, D2) and two capacitors (C6, C7).
