<p>A 5way hydraulic control valve has a neutral centre position and two opposite end positions. a hydraulic pilot valve is connected to the two parts which are provided for the operation of the valve slider. when the control valve is in its neutral position, both its pilot chambers are connected to the oil sump. When the lever is operated, a pressure regulating valve opens and actuates the pilot valve. this in turn operates the control valve in such a way that one pilot chamber is pressurized whilst the opposite chambe ris simultaneously exhausted to the oil sump. thus position valve piston movement is obtained even when its stroke is only very short.</p> |
