<p>1526372 Supply fittings for basins &c HANS GROHE KG 18 March 1976 [19 March 1975] 10943/76 Heading A4N [Also in Division F1] A water outlet fitting 1 for a basin (2), Fig. 2 (not shown), comprises a generally horizontal tubular body 3 connected at one end to a water supply pipe and provided at the other with a discharge head 8 mounted rotatably on the body through 180 degrees to convert the downwardly directed basin fitting shown into an upwardly directed drinking fountain, (Fig. 2), the rotation axis 14 of the head forming an obtuse angle and of not more than 140 degrees with the axis 12 of the head orifice 11. The body 3 is provided with an annular shoulder at right angles to the axis 14 and an extension 16 coaxial with said axis and in which is located a flanged bushing 18. The head 8 has a cylindrical recess 17 and a threaded boring 25 of smaller diameter coaxial therewith and containing a hollow screw 27. The bushing 18 is screwed into or soldered into the extension 16, the flange of the bushing being of smaller diameter than the extension and being surrounded by a scaling ring 20. A spring-loaded ball 30 locates the head in its two operative positions, the head being rotated by a handle 7.</p> |
