<p>A remote grade indiciating apparatus for machines for tunneling, jacking and boring into earth fill, such remote grade indicating apparatus permits the operator to accurately establish the grade inclination or declination at the outset of the boring operation and moreover to continuously monitor the grade angle being established as the boring operation progresses. More specifically, the remote grade indicating apparatus comprises a remote sensor mounting on the foremost casing portion driven into the earth fill and a read-out apparatus at the operator's station such that the operator can proceed with the earth boring operation in accordance with his continuous observation of the remote grade indicating apparatus.</p> |
