Improvement in intermodulation damping and voltage compensation of the switching transistors in a class AB push-pull amplifier is obtained through the use of a compensation transistor whose collector and emitter electrodes are coupled across the poles of the amplifier d.c. source through respective collector and emitter resistors and whose base electrode is coupled to the secondary winding centertap of the input transformer.
