The ignition circuit, for an internal-combustion engine, has a logic circuit which is used to help protect an amplifier. The logic circuit receives information signals from a delay line, from an ignition signal control and from a protection circuit which is used to safeguard the amplifier. In the case when the protection circuit receives an increased supply voltage the appropriate transistor in the amplifier is connected in such a way that the charge time of the ignition coil is considerably reduced above a given supply voltage level. A diode/capacitor parallel circuit is connected between the h.v. coil circuit and the amplifier input circuit.
|
