Resin impregnated plastic mesh panels for aerodrome runway repair - inhibit subsidence of filled subsurface pockets

Panels for covering holes filled with hardcore etc. where the panels comprise one or more layers of plastic mesh or netting impregnated with a matrix resin which envelopes the mesh and secures ancillary hooks for anchoring the panels in place. The mesh is pref. made from polyethylene terephthalate monofilaments. The impregnating resin is pref. also polyester based, nopt. a blend of rigid and flexible resins. Used esp. for construction or repair of aerodrome runways etc. Panels are laid and/or overlaid with staggered joints. The panels are more flexible and corrosion resistant than metallic grilles, more rot resistant than fabric covers.
