The brackets consist of a pair of L-shaped rods (6) which are fixed into circular pads which are in turn fixed to a suitable wall (P). A clamp (7) which is locked to each rod (6) carries a transverse bar. A lug (2) is fixed by a screw to each end of each transverse bar. The loudspeaker cabinet rests on the lower transverse bar and is clamped in position by the lugs (2). This method of support does not require any fixing holes in the cabinet. It also allows the cabinet to the tilted at a small angle to transmit the sound in the required direction.
