Ore separator installation with diamond searching - uses X:ray system, photo receivers and blower nozzles

Ore separator with a hollow housing has a supply conveyor positioned above an installation to distribute the ore to be separated in a layer of corn thickness. This ore is taken to a radiation point using at least two X-ray tubes. Photo receivers are arranged at a receiving point for luminescent radiation. The installation is made as a pan (4) fitted with a rotation drive and separated from the X-ray tubes (7), the photo receivers and the blower nozzles, all being located higher around it by a horizontal light protection wall (6). Slots (10) allow passage of X-rays to the luminescent ore grains. The vertical separating wall (14) as well as the chambers (15, 16) for the separated material are positioned co-axially around the pan (4).
