<p>Compsn. comprises (A) 4-45 wt. % anionic detergent mixt. (B) 0.1-5 wt. % water-soluble gelatin with mol. wt. 12500, gel strength 25-300 Bloom and isoelectric point at pH 4.5-9.2 and (D) remainder a liquid carrier comprising water and/or a 1-5C alkanol. Wt. ratio (A):(B) is 5-60:1. (A) comprises a mixt. of a sulphate of formula (I) and a sulphonate of formula (II) in wt. ratio 10:1 to 1:5. R1O(C2H4O)nSO3M (I) R2SO3M (II) (where R1 and R2 are 8-24C opt. unsatd. hydrocarbyl or 8-18C alkylbenzene residues; n is 1.5-15; M is alkali metal, NH4, NH2Me2, NH2Et2, NHMe3, NHEt3, NH2(CH2 - OH)2, NH2(CH2CH2OH)2, NH(CH2OH)3 or NH(CH2CH2OH)3). (B) comprises a cpd. of formula (III)-(VI) R11-N(R13)2- (2-3C alkylene)-N(R14)2 -R14 (VI) (where R3 is 10-22C hydrocarbyl (opt. interrupted by 1-2 O, COO or CONH bonds) or (8-16C alkyl)-aryl; R4 is as R3, 1-6C aliphatic hydrocarbyl or benzyl; R5 and R6 are 1-3C aliphatic hydrocarbyl or benzyl; R5 and R6 are 1-3C aliphatic hydrocarbyl; X is an anion, pref. MeSO4, Br or Cl; R3 and R4 together have 13-32C; R7 and R8 are 6-18C aliphatic hydrocarbyl, R10 is H or 1-4C hydrocarbyl; R8 and R9 together have 10-22C; R11 is 10-24C hydrocarbyl opt. interrupted by 1 or 2 O, COO or CONH bonds; R12 is H, 1-22C hydrocarbyl; (1-4C alkylene-NH)r-H (r = 1-10) or (CH2CH2O)sH (s = 1-10); R13 is H, Me, Et, PnCH2 or (CH2CH2O)sH; R14 is H, 1-3C alkyl, (C2H4O)pH or (C3H6O)gH; p and g are O or numbers such that (p+g) is not >25; r is 1-10).
