The semi-mounted reversible plough comprises a longitudinal beam (1), the rear (8) supported (11) on trailing wheels and adjustable (13) for height. A front section (2) is attached (28) to the tractor and is adjustable (75) for the height. This has a control cylinder (37) and a transverse steering cylinder (22) operating a rack and pinion on a pivot (4). When moving on roads in a straight line, control cylinder and steering cylinder are central. If a turn is made, the control cylinder piston is displaced and oil flows into the steering cylinder to turn the rear of the plough. When ploughing, the steering cylinder is used to change over the ploughshares (7).
