<p>PURPOSE:To form a coating film having high impact resistance, etc., by applying a color pigment-containing water paint to a surface to be coated, coating the resulting coated surface with a clear paint as a crosslinking-setting paint of a specific composition without hardening the above coating film of water paint, and then hardening both coating films mentioned above. CONSTITUTION:A crosslinking-setting clear paint for forming a transparent coating film is prepared by blending a hardening agent with a resin as base material which consists of a resin (a) having hydroxyl group directly bonded to silicon atom and/or hydrolytic group and epoxy group in the same resin molecule or a resin mixture consisting of a resin b1 having hydroxyl group directly bonded to silicon atom and/or hydrolytic group and a resin b2 having epoxy group. After a color pigment-containing water paint is applied to the surface to be coated, the surface of the resulting coating film is coated with the above clear paint without hardening the above coating film of water paint, and then both coating films are hardened, by which the coating film is formed.</p> |
