A memory for data consists of a keyword and sets of data, with a shift register (RSR, MSR, LSR) for the sets of data and a terminal from which the data can be fed out in sequence, leading to a comparator (10) in which the keyword (K) of the momentarily fed-out data is compared with a wanted keyword, and whose output controls the feed-in or feed-out through the terminal to the shift register, the data stored on one or other side of the connecting lead being suitably shifted when a set of data is to be fed in or out. Then shift register may be a linear two-way register with the connecting lead in its centre. The arrangement facilitates the easy recording of data in the order of the keywords, with correspondingly simple retrieval.
|
