<p>Parent patent, is for a composite ligneous board with a core composed of wood particles held in a resin adhesive between sheets of resin-impregnated paper. In the addition, the core is composed of wood fibres placed in the thickness direction of the core, i.e., normal to the paper faces. For lightness, the fibres are pref. of balsa and a thin sheet of beech or similar wood is placed between the core and the sheets of paper, on both sides. Board, is esp. for the construction of containers, railway wagons, etc.</p> |
