Appts. is for stroke-dependent variable dispensing of liqs. using multi-component piston dispensers consisting of a number of cylinder with their associated pistons, inlet an and outlet lines and a drive mechanism. A hollow piston is axially movable in the housing of a variable dispenser through the action of a sliding shoe on an adjustable slide-rail. The housing is connected with the cylinder housing of the dispenser. An explusion piston connected to the cylinder housing extends into the hollow piston, and the slide rail is attached to the frame of the dispenser. The space inside the cylinder of the variable dispenser is connected to that in the cylinder for one of the components. The proportions of the liqs. to be measured out can be continuously varied over a wide range of values.
